GHB Selected to Assist WA Healthplanfinder Customers
GHB Insurance is proud to have been selected by Washington HealthplanfinderTM as a storefront, or full-service enrollment center, that provides residents in Thurston County and those in neighboring counties with in-person assistance with their health plan during this year’s Open Enrollment period that starts on Nov. 1, 2017 and ends Jan. 15, 2018. Washington Healthplanfinder is the official ACA-compliant health benefit exchange for Washington State.
GHB is one of the 13 statewide locations and is considered a “Broker Enrollment Center” staffed with registered brokers, a uniquely educated and licensed team of professionals who live in and support our local communities. Our brokers can recommend a plan for area residents and can help them fill out their application.
GHB has also partnered with CHOICE Regional Health Network that has “Navigators” who can provide a higher level technical assistance for application errors as well as assist with enrollments.
GHB has the experience to help
Locations were selected by the Exchange based on prior experience with enrollment and assistance, as well as the remaining number of uninsured individuals residing in their service area.
“GHB is honored to be able to offer our expertise to help people clearly understand what is available for them,” said Ron Bruchet, president of GHB Insurance, that is celebrating its 90th year in the community. “This Open Enrollment period may be particularly challenging and we see it as another chance to provide excellent customer service and knowledge about the process, so that people get the care and coverage they need.”
After a successful debut last year, enrollment centers return in both Spokane and Vancouver for the open enrollment period. In addition to GHB’s location in Olympia, new centers are open in Federal Way, and Tukwila, as well as a second location in Vancouver. Enrollment affiliate sites are stationed in Bellingham, Burlington, Lakewood, Puyallup, Seattle, Sumner and Vancouver.
All sites are required to host regular business hours and offer extended availability leading up to important enrollment deadlines. Residents are encouraged to schedule appointments with our brokers in advance of the start of open enrollment on Nov. 1.
